With friends Jason, Niki, and Christian, we began with a long car shuttle to set up a one way 16 mile paddle down the Colorado River outside of Yuma, AZ. This marks my 3rd time down the Colorado, though the kayaks on this trip far outperformed the canoes I had used previously. With great company, we explored some old mining sights, side lakes, reed mazes, and kept our ears/eyes open for the countless birds in the area. Great trip!
