Ticking off two more of the remaining eight peaks I had left on the San Diego County peaks list, I set off on a Monday night with intentions of hiking Mt. Collins and Knob Peak. I took an unorthodox route through upper Sheep Canyon, the ruggedness of which is documented, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Trip report
