Something I’ve had on my mind for a while, Jeff Manchester and I descended San Diego’s highest waterfall, Mildred Falls (dry except after rain/snow). Two ~70 foot rappels got us to the 3rd and last drop, a huge 200 foot free hanging rappel. A rattlesnake that had been pestering us at the 3rd anchor, hucked itself off the edge and landed at our feet once we had reached the bottom the of the falls, quite the odd incident amid an awesome half-day adventure…
