I spent most of January bumming around Anza Borrego, with a few trips into San Diego when work called me in. I did a lot of road cycling, soaking in Agua Caliente Hot Springs, cycled to Bailey’s Cabin, checked out slot canyons (both new and old), found the Sheep Tanks (a natural watering hole for bighorn sheep – dry!), and did a few other hikes, most notably Grapevine and Chariot Mountains…
